Our Annual Recital is a June performance that showcases how much our dancers have learned and grown in classes! We host the Annual Recital at an auditorium, dancers wear costumes and stage hair & makeup, and we get to cheer the dancers, teachers, choreographers, and HID staff for a job well done.

To celebrate the 20th annual recital of High Impact Dance, our theme is The Emerald Season.

SATURDAY, JUNE 14TH

There are three shows: 11 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:00 pm. Dancers in more than one class may be in more than one show. Please see the Recital Breakout document for details on which show(s) your dancer’s class(es) perform.

Yes! The rehearsal is Friday, June 13th at the Koval Center.

Classes are scheduled to attend a no-dress rehearsal (no costumes, but hair and makeup is optional if you want the practice) the evening of June 13th. Your dancer should show up 10 minutes early for the 30-minute rehearsal blocks as shown in the Rehearsal Schedule document.

While we aren’t doing costumes this year, we are still getting stagetime, a quick tour of the facilities, and information on student seating. Ticket pickup, pre-ordered gifts, and other services will be available at the June 13th rehearsal as well.

Yes, you need to purchase tickets to be in the audience for recital. Ticket pricing is not included in tuition rates.

Tickets can be pre-ordered by Saturday, May 17th. We hold four (4) tickets per family until that date. After the pre-order deadline, all tickets are released for purchase.

Ticket pricing:
$30 Premium Seating (front 10 rows)
$25 General Seating (lower section)
$20 Upper Level Seating

Multi-show ticketing is available for: $35 per ticket for admission to two shows; and $50 per ticket for admission to all three shows. There is an addition $5 charge per ticket for multi-show tickets in Premium Seating.

Please order your tickets by May 31st. Seating and availability will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. To order tickets, fill out the Ticket Order form at the end of the recital handbook (or stop by the front desk to get one), and submit at the front desk or via email to admin@highimpactdance.net.

Tickets will be released starting June 2nd and can be picked up as late as the June 13th rehearsal.

Lap children (age 3 and under) do not need their own ticket.
