High Impact Dance was born in 2004 as a recreational dance studio focusing on power tap and clogging styles. Over the last 20 years, the students, staff, and class offerings have grown into a multidisciplinary recreational and competitive studio that supports dancers of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and goals.

HID is located at 7839 Martin Way E in the Hawks Prairie area of Lacey. Our dancers come from Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater, DuPont, University Place, Shelton, Yelm, and other surrounding communities.

Looking Back…
The 2024 Annual Recital, themed “All You Need is Love,” showcased the talent and diverse styles of our students at High Impact Dance. From lyrical to hip hop, each performance highlighted the beauty and emotion that love inspires in dance. Each piece, whether light-hearted or poignant, contributed to the overall theme of the recital, reminding us of love's power to connect and inspire.
The “All You Need is Love” recital not only celebrated various dance styles but also fostered a sense of community among dancers and their families, bringing everyone together in appreciation of the art and the message it conveys.
