We highly recommend purchasing your dance shoes from our studio. We have great quality shoes at very affordable prices. All dancers should wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the type of class they are enrolled in. Hair should be worn away from the face, preferrably in a bun or ponytail. Class specific attire requirements are listed below.

Please write your dancer's name on all dance & street shoes in case they get left behind.

High Impact Dance Dress Code

Acro 1-3: Dancers should wear leotards, footless or convertible tights, and no shoes (barefoot); long hair must be in a side bun for safety purposes

Acting for Dancers: This is an add-on class, dancers should wear the attire required for their core class

Adut Ballet: Comfortable dance or athletic wear recommended; canvas or leather ballet shoes required

Adult Classic Jazz: Skin-toned jazz shoes required; dancers should wear comfortable dance or athletic attire

Ballet: Leotard and tights OR shorts/leggings and a fitted shirt; dancers should wear pink leather ballet shoes without strings; sheer ballet skirts are optional

Ballet + Tap Combo: Fitted dance attire (leotard and tights OR leggings and a fitted shirt); required shoes include pink ballet shoes without strings and black velcro tap shoes; skirts or shorts are optional

Ballet + Jazz Combo: Fitted dance attire (leotard and tights OR leggings and a fitted shirt); pink ballet shoes without strings; skirts or shorts are optional

Broadway Babies & Broadway Stars: Fitted dance attire with pink ballet shoes without strings; shorts and skirts are optional

Broadway Jazz: Comfortable dance attire; skin-toned jazz shoes and black character heels are required

Contemporary: Fitted dance attire, footless or convertible tights, and dance barefoot or with contemporary socks; shorts or leggings are optional

Hip-Hop: Athletic attire and black tennis shoes reserved for dance class use only

Hip-Hop Storytime: Activewear they can easily move in (we suggest leggings and a t-shirt or leotard) and clean sneakers that are reserved for class time only

Jazz: Fitted dance attire and skin-toned jazz shoes

Jazz + Tap: Fitted dance attire; black jazz shoes and black tap shoes are required

Jazzy Tots: Fitted dancewear (a leotard and tights or shorts/leggings and a fitted shirt) with black jazz shoes

Lyrical: Fitted dance attire and can choose to dance barefoot or in skin-toned half-soles or skin-toned dance socks

Line Dancing: Comfortable clothing you can move in, plus clean shoes preferrably reserved for class

Musical Theater: Fitted dance attire and skin-toned jazz shoes

Pointe: Fitted dance attire. Sheer skirts optional, and pink canvas Bloch ballet shoes; dancers on pointe need to meet with an instructor prior to purchasing pointe shoes

Power Tap / Clogging: Athletic or dance attire and wear white oxford double-tap clogging shoes

Tap: Black tap shoes along with comfortable athletic wear or dance attire

Tumbling: Fitted dance attire (no skirts), footless or convertible tights, and no shoes (barefoot); long hair must be set in a side bun for safety purposes

Turns and Leaps: Fitted dance attire and can choose to wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, half-soles, or dance socks

Tiny Dancers: Fitted dance attire (leotard and tights OR leggings and a fitted shirt) and pink ballet shoes without strings Skirts or shorts are optional
